An English classic, mouth-watering steak and kidney encased in delicious suet pastry served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
While the invention of the pudding cloth revolutionised English cooking in the 16th Century, the first recorded recipe for steak and kidney pudding appears courtesy of Victorian domestic goddess Mrs Beeton in 1861.
Followed in the interval by a pot of our Tea House Leaf Breakfast Tea and our Homemade Raisin Scones with Ringden Farm Summer Fruits Jam and Cornish Clotted Cream.
